The Power of Mindfulness

It is so easy for us to remind others of their great qualities, but how often do we tell ourselves the same thing? Speaking kind words to yourself outloud is extremely important for not only your mental health, but for your self confidence as well. 

Some examples of Affirmations: 

  • I am healthy.

  • I am strong.

  • I am powerful.

  • I can do anything I put my mind to.

  • I am brave.

  • I will not worry about things that are out of my control.

  • I attract positive energy.

Start out small by saying these affirmations in front of your bathroom mirror, in your car on the way to work, or even writing it down in a journal would suffice. The more you say these affirmations out loud, the more you will believe them to be true!

Mindfulness opens the door to a calmer way of life where living in the present becomes more natural. Use affirmations as a way to redirect your thoughts and become a more positive person.
